Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years billing or accounts receivable experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with billing software and accounting systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an intermediary between departments to resolve billing and purchase order issues with customers.
• Create and maintain accurate customer accounts.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable sales tax laws and regulations.
• Investigate and correct billing errors and inconsistencies as needed.
• Collaborate with internal labs or departments to ensure billing data is complete and accurate.
• Manage customer portal billings, special billing requests, consolidated invoices, and web order transactions.
• Communicate with customers regarding account balances and follow up on aging accounts receivable reports.
• Maintain organized accounting records, both digital and paper-based.
• Assist with other related tasks and projects as assigned by management.
