Job summary

Robertson Ryan Insurance is seeking a detail‑oriented Billing Specialist to independently process billing transactions in the EPIC system, including Direct Bill commissions and invoicing Agency Bill items in accordance with established workflows. This role offers hybrid/in-office work with training followed by options at our Milwaukee, WI location.

You will reconcile carrier statements, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with Account Managers to ensure accurate billing and timely payments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with data entry experience.
• Ability to read and interpret bank and commission statements and prepare reports.
• Strong math skills including rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with carriers and internal teams.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; EPIC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile and process carrier commission statements in the EPIC system accurately and timely.
• Research and resolve direct bill statement discrepancies with carriers and internal teams.
• Invoice agency bill items as directed by Account Managers and on the Billing Request Form.
• Investigate billing discrepancies, unapplied payments, and outstanding items.
• Assist in documenting workflows for agency invoicing and collaborate with Account Managers on endorsements, renewals, and new business.
• Ensure accurate information is recorded in EPIC and keep organized records.
