Zusammenfassung

Deepgram is seeking a Billing & Analytics Engineer to own the systems turning usage into invoices, revenue analytics, and a self-serve billing experience. You will design the end-to-end billing pipeline, including ingestion, aggregation, rating, invoicing, and CRM integration, enabling PLG growth.

You’ll own analytics surfaces, dashboards, and data pipelines to support revenue recognition, forecasting, and audits, while ensuring security and high availability across the billing stack.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience building and operating billing, payments, metering, or financial data systems in a SaaS or usage-based pricing environment.
• Strong backend engineering skills across Rust and at least one of Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Go, or similar.
• Deep experience with relational databases and data pipelines for high-volume event processing.
• Hands-on experience with billing or subscription platforms (Stripe, M3ter, Metronome, Chargebee, Zuora) and CRM systems like Salesforce.
• Understanding of usage-based pricing models, metering patterns, and edge cases (proration, overages, credits).
• Experience building reconciliation and data integrity systems for financial accuracy at scale.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and maintain billing pipelines from usage events to invoicing and analytics.
• Develop real-time dashboards and historical usage views for customers and internal teams.
• Integrate with billing platforms and CRM systems and ensure data reconciliation across systems.
• Collaborate with Finance, RevOps, Product, and Growth to translate requirements into reliable systems.
• Implement secure, auditable API keys, token management, and access controls for billing features.
• Build and maintain internal analytics pipelines and dashboards for revenue metrics.
