Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Billing Analyst to support the billing readiness process for North America Field Service. You will validate job completion, confirm customer authorization, review cost postings, and ensure service orders and projects are ready for billing.

You will work with field offices and internal teams, monitor open orders, and contribute to month-end close activities while supporting continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a business, administrative, operations, billing, finance, or customer support environment.
• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and related productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Validate jobs for billing readiness by confirming customer authorization, service order or project completion, accurate cost postings, and appropriate Ready to Bill status.
• Review and correct cost posting errors, confirmation issues, and other billing-related discrepancies as needed.
• Communicate professionally with field offices regarding job status, missing information, billing readiness concerns, and required follow-up actions.
• Monitor open order activity daily and support month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate billing readiness.
• Assist with customer disputes as needed by researching issues, supporting resolution efforts, and providing timely updates.
