Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a Billing Analyst to support Core Standard Billing, reporting to the Billing Director, with a focus on analytical support, cross-functional coordination, and continuous improvement within a growing billing environment.

The role collaborates with Finance, Client Services, and IT to drive ongoing billing enhancements and ensure accurate, timely monthly billing while supporting automation initiatives and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience.
• Proficient in Excel with pivots, lookups, and macros.
• Strong PC and Microsoft applications skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for standard and automated billing processes.
• Main contact for Gallagher Center of Excellence process analysts.
• Perform reconciliations between automated results and source data.
• Investigate discrepancies and escalate complex issues.
• Assist in migrating contracts to automated billing.
• Review billing requirements for automation eligibility.
• Assist with billing configuration and testing for new automated arrangements.
• Maintain and update billing documentation and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Finance, Client Services, and IT for improvements.
• Identify opportunities to increase automation and efficiency.
• Support monthly and recurring billing cycles.
