Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Billing Analyst / Billing Associate for a contract engagement in Newport Beach, California. This on-site role covers institutional billing, invoicing, and revenue analysis within a Finance/FP&A context; start late October or early November with a schedule of Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

The position offers hands-on training, exposure to SQL/Oracle data sources, and opportunities to improve processes through automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
Experience in billing, accounts receivable, financial operations or related function.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Prepare and validate fixed and incentive fee invoices for institutional accounts.
Manage customized billing requirements and individual fee schedules.
Source and analyze data from multiple systems including SQL and Oracle.
Validate billing results and investigate discrepancies or anomalies.
Calculate monthly revenue to support GL reporting.
Perform variance analysis and investigate out-of-tolerance results.
Apply accounting concepts including understanding of the accrual cycle.
Perform reconciliations and data validation.
Support automation initiatives using available technologies.
Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Account Management and other stakeholders.
