Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Billing Analyst in the United States (California/San Diego region) to ensure accurate customer invoicing and data integrity. You will collaborate with accounting, finance, and customer service teams to resolve discrepancies and support revenue reporting initiatives.

The role requires 1–2 years in billing or related fields, a bachelor's degree, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel. Onsite attendance Monday through Thursday is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in billing, finance, accounting, or analytical role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to reconcile large data sets and identify discrepancies.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze billing data to verify invoice accuracy and identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Investigate and resolve billing issues to ensure timely and accurate customer invoicing.
• Reconcile billing records with financial and accounting systems to support accurate revenue recognition and reporting.
• Partner with accounting and finance teams to research and correct billing discrepancies.
• Respond to customer billing inquiries, disputes, and payment arrangement requests while providing excellent customer service.
• Maintain, update, and troubleshoot billing systems to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.
• Assist with process documentation and recommend improvements that enhance billing accuracy and reduce manual effort.
• Support reporting initiatives by compiling and analyzing billing metrics and performance data.
