Brown & Brown's Winston Benefits division in Manasquan, New Jersey is seeking a Billing and Accounts Specialist. You will identify, record, and apply checks and support billing and other related functions in the premium accounting department.

Responsibilities

• Record and perform Web Banking Deposits for all checks received for Corporate and Premium Accounts.
• Apply all manual payments for missed deductions, and direct billing accounts into IBS.
• Manage cancellation process daily which includes reviewing Call Center cancellation requests, transposing information onto the appropriate Cancellation Request form and mailing to the appropriate member/employee.
• Manage the Missed Deduction Letter fulfillment when needed.
• Serve as backup support to Billing Coordinator.
• Prepare billing and coordinate with Account Manager during Cata Direct Bill Process.
• Maintain Direct Bill spreadsheet and notify carriers.
• Serve as backup support on 3rd party clients.
• Assist the account servicing team in resolving issues.
