Job summary

Routeware, Inc. is seeking a Billing Staff Accountant to join the finance team. You will generate accurate customer invoices, research billing disputes, and maintain the accounting system to ensure balanced ledgers and timely monthly closes.

Key responsibilities include assisting in financial reporting, documenting procedures, and supporting audits and tax activities. A strong GAAP background and 2+ years in middle‑market accounting are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience in middle-market companies.
• Proficient with accounting software and MS Office.
• Experience with multi-currency transactions is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Generate customer invoices accurately and timely.
• Research and resolve billing disputes with customers.
• Enter data into accounting system and balance ledgers.
• Prepare general ledger entries and assist monthly close process.
• Document accounting procedures and assist in financial reporting.
• Support tax advisors and audits with documentation.
