Altocare, operating Senior Helpers and MedTec Healthcare, seeks a Billing Accountant to own billing and AR cycles and handle related journal entries during the monthly close. The role requires attention to detail, accurate invoicing, and professional communication with franchisees, clients, and payers.

You will manage high volume recurring billing, ensure data accuracy, and support audits while maintaining control over billing calendars and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of accounting, billing, or AR experience; healthcare/franchise billing a plus.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, review, and issue invoices including recurring franchise royalty and client/payer billing.
• Post and apply customer payments, ACH receipts, and credits; research unapplied cash.
• Monitor AR aging, perform collections follow-up, and escalate past-due balances.
• Prepare journal entries for revenue, AR, and accruals at monthly close.
• Reconcile AR subledger to the general ledger and investigate reconciling items.
• Support audit with AR and revenue schedules and respond to auditor requests.
