Job summary

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia is seeking a full-time Medical Biller in Philadelphia, PA to join our clinical billing team. You will code and enter patient visits, verify information, and ensure timely charges while complying with regulations.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in a medical office setting (cardiology preferred), solid insurance knowledge, strong computer skills, and experience with EMR systems. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered to successful hires.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of experience in a medical office, preferably in Cardiology.
• Knowledge of different insurance plans and billing rules.
• Able to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with billing systems.
• Experience with EMR systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Code and enter all patient visits, tests, etc.
• Ensure the accuracy of all patient information in the billing system.
• Ensure the timeliness of all charges.
• Verify, adjust, and correct bills to ensure accuracy.

CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. We are currently hiring a full-time Medical Biller for our Philadelphia, PA location.

Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.*

Responsibilities

• Code and enter all patient visits, tests, etc.
• Ensure the accuracy of all patient information in the billing system.
• Ensure the timeliness of all charges.
• Verify, adjust, and correct bills to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and third-party billing requirements, rules, and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must have at least 3-5 yrs experience in a medical office setting, preferably in Cardiology
• Must have knowledge of different insurance
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Computer knowledge is a must
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus
• Must be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing

Job Type: Full-time

• If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign-on bonus.
