Job summary

Lamar Advertising Company is hiring for an Operations crew member in Montgomery, AL to install and maintain billboards and related structures. The role involves outdoor work, climbing, and following safety standards to ensure quality installations.

You will join a crew responsible for adhesive and mechanical tasks, with training provided. A Monday–Friday schedule and competitive hourly pay accompany comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction course is required.
• Preferred certifications (CDL/Non-CDL, Crane, Signal, Rigging) depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain all billboards and related signage.
• Remove and hang flexes and vinyls; prepare and install copy on signs.
• Maintain structures, tighten bolts, paint, and perform repairs as needed.
• Build extensions, cut brush, conduct storm damage repairs, and perform minor electrical work.
• Use power/manual tools safely and attend safety meetings; document work with photos and logs.
• Maintain company vehicles and tools; participate in training and safety programs.
