Job summary

Lenco Armored Vehicles is seeking a Bill of Materials Coordinator to prepare part numbers and BOMs for current and new product configurations. You will maintain BOMs in ERP, evaluate engineering changes, and collaborate across Engineering and other departments to resolve configuration issues.

The role emphasizes accurate BOM data, ERP systems expertise, and strong cross-functional communication to support vehicle production and product launches.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience directly working with engineering and manufacturing Bills of Material.
  • Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems, engineering change workflows, and BOM generation.
  • Excellent data accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain BOM data in ERP per engineering changes.
  • Coordinate engineering changes across departments.
  • Analyze components needed to build vehicles, including new products.
  • Research stock dispositions and inventory transactions.
  • Maintain Product Master records and ensure compliance with drawing formats.

Job Summary:

The Bill of Materials Coordinator is a key contributor responsible for assisting in the preparation of parts numbers and bills of material for current and new product configurations. You will create and maintain accurate Bills of Material (BOMs) in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system per corporate standards. This role evaluates engineering changes for ERP impact and works cross-functionally with Engineering and other departments to research and resolve configuration issues.

What You\\'ll Do:
  • Update, maintain, and enter accurate BOM data into the ERP system based on engineering changes.
  • Coordinate engineering changes and process requests across all key departments.
  • Analyze required components to successfully build vehicles, particularly for newly developed products.
  • Research, recommend, and process stock dispositions, inventory transactions, and service notes.
  • Maintain Product Master records and cross-reference information within a secured environment.
  • Ensure strict compliance with corporate drawing formats, part naming conventions, and uniform BOMs.
  • Perform technical problem analysis to identify root causes, outline resolution options, and resolve issues generated by change requests.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to serve as a liaison between departments.
  • Problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of working independently to meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional work experience.
