Qualifications

• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus (spoken and written).
• 1+ year paralegal or legal assistant experience; NC workers' comp experience a big plus.
• Strong organization skills and ability to juggle a busy caseload.

Responsibilities

• Open new matters in Clio Work/Manage and set up electronic file.
• Collect medical records, bills, wage information, and verify wages.
• File Form 33 hearing requests; draft motions, interrogatories, and job description letters.
• Work in the NCIC portal; upload documents and monitor docket.
• Prepare cases for mediation/hearings with checklists and record transmission.
