Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC in San Antonio, TX seeks a Safety Team Lead (Warehouse) who is bilingual to coach and mentor site management toward an incident- and injury-free operation while maintaining full regulatory compliance.

You will lead development and implementation of location safety strategies, oversee training, conduct inspections, manage Gensuite audits, and report trends to leadership to drive continuous safety improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Health & Safety or Operations Management experience with proven leadership ability.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, and at the specified location.
• Complete Penske employment application and submit to background investigation and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of location safety strategies aligned with the region. Monitor effectiveness and oversee corrective/improvement efforts.
• Develop and mobilize an effective safety team comprising exempt and non-exempt associates.
• Conduct regular inspections, evaluations, and observations to validate strategy effectiveness.
• Provide location leadership with evaluation results and recommendations via Gensuite Audit Tracking System.
• Track findings to completion and involve local leadership when progress stalls.
