Job summary

Xpedient Logistics is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor in Shorewood, IL to lead warehouse teams, optimize labor and inventory, and ensure safe, compliant operations for multiple clients. This full-time role emphasizes productive supervision, coaching, and cross-functional coordination with ongoing focus on cost efficiency and service levels.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English and Spanish
• Experience leading warehouse operations or similar roles
• Strong data analysis and forecasting skills
• Proven ability to influence at all levels and coach teams
• Experience with SAP and WMS systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership to warehouse staff and foster a positive team environment
• Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse personnel to align with goals
• Maintain safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the warehouse
• Oversee receiving, storing, picking, and shipping operations
• Implement inventory controls to minimize discrepancies and losses
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories for accuracy
• Develop and execute strategies and annual operational plans
• Monitor labor, quality, and productivity metrics
• Manage inventory and labor in coordination with customer requirements
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety programs
• Utilize supply chain technology, SAP/WMS, and Microsoft Office
