Job summary

Xpedient Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead III in Shorewood, IL to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure safe, accurate processing of goods, and lead a team to achieve productivity and quality targets.

You will coach associates, assign tasks, monitor receiving, storage, and distribution, and maintain inventory integrity through counts and audits, while upholding safety standards and equipment care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a warehouse or logistics role
• At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory position
• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of inventory management software and systems
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to warehouse operations
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide, and support warehouse associates in daily tasks.
• Assign and monitor work to ensure timely, accurate completion.
• Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of products.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
• Monitor product quality and report discrepancies or damages.
• Implement quality control measures to minimize errors and returns.
• Ensure warehouse activities adhere to quality standards.
• Maintain and operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Schedule and oversee maintenance and repairs.
• Train new employees on warehouse procedures and best practices.
• Perform other office duties as assigned.
