Job summary

Xpedient Logistics in Shorewood, IL is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead warehouse staff in a fast-paced, multi-client fulfillment environment. You will oversee receiving, storage, picking, and shipping, drive safety, and optimize labor and inventory management to meet service targets.

The role requires 4+ years in warehouse operations leadership, fluent English/Spanish, and experience with SAP and WMS. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred; hybrid capacity is not indicated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience leading operations in ecommerce, fulfillment, manufacturing, production or distribution/logistics.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to draw conclusions from data.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership to warehouse staff and foster a positive team environment.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse personnel and ensure alignment with goals.
• Oversee receiving, storing, picking, and shipping with timely accuracy.
• Implement inventory controls to minimize discrepancies and loss.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories regularly.
• Develop and execute strategy, plans, and SOPs for operations.
• Monitor labor, quality, and productivity with metrics.
