Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) has an immediate full-time opportunity in Lima, Ohio for a Bilingual Warehouse Janitorial Site Manager. The role oversees janitorial operations, budgets, and safety programs, with a focus on problem solving and creating a safe workplace.

The candidate should be bilingual (English/Spanish), have OSHA 10 and forklift/scissor lift certifications, and at least 4 years of supervisory experience in similar settings. Benefits accompany a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• OSHA 10 hour general industry certification.
• OSHA forklift/scissor lift operator certification.
• Experience in janitorial operations strongly preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of supervisory and leadership experience in distribution centers, janitorial or building maintenance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external customers and employees.
• Experience with HR processes including staffing lifecycle, interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and terminations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for operational financial budget, labor planning, and cost optimization.
• Provides direct supervision of assigned janitorial operations personnel.
• Ensures proper training for all personnel in their respective positions.
• Measures performance, provides feedback and develops staff with clear safety expectations and timely incident reporting procedures.
• Collaborates with team to coordinate and execute daily operations, resolving deficiencies promptly.
• Maintains coverage for all 3 shifts by coordinating with shift leads and confirming daily schedules.
• Maintains compliance with all company policies and issues disciplinary actions as needed.
• Implements company safety programs and machinery use including forklift training.
• Manages chemicals and supply inventory ensuring employee safety and use of proper PPE.
