Compass Connections in El Paso, TX is hiring a Unit Manager for our residential facility. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish fluency, strong crisis intervention skills, and the ability to supervise activities and staff across shifts.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, schedule transportation, and maintain detailed records while supporting reunification goals and child welfare best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: 2-year Associate degree or two years of college coursework.
• Certifications: First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention.
• 1 year of related experience required; 2+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards applicable to this position.
• Monitor staffing assignments to maintain staff-to-child ratio at all times.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with personnel on other shifts.
• Model appropriate behaviors and social skills aligned with policies.
• Plan, organize and supervise activities for children per daily schedule.
• Schedule air and ground transportation for children as needed.
• Maintain documentation required by the position and program policies.
• Work evenings, weekends and holidays as requested.
