Job summary

B&B Concrete in Memphis is seeking a concrete project superintendent to plan and coordinate concrete construction, supervise field crews, maintain project schedules, and ensure budget compliance and safety standards. You will work with Operations Managers and Project Management for manpower scheduling and project communication.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a proactive approach to solving on-site challenges, with a focus on quality and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in concrete construction.
• Ability to supervise construction employees within budget and schedule.
• Maintain positive working relationships with management, owners, trades and subcontractors.
• Able to balance and prioritize multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in a field environment.
• Above-average working knowledge of technology and related resources.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Operations managers for all concrete schedules/operations.
• Daily communications with Project Management to ensure project communication and execution.
• Be on site to supervise and oversee all concrete construction processes.
• Ensure the budget is followed in terms of manpower productions and material expenditures.
• Organize and schedule the field labor and ensure they perform as required.
• Coordinate with other subcontractors and ensure proper planning and work harmony.
• Ensure quality is preserved in concrete construction and budget is maintained.
• Track and report project progress daily and weekly.
• Track and report time for field manpower overseen.
• Continuously monitor productivity and progress, identify problems and provide solutions.
