Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) seeks a clinician to deliver trauma-informed mental health services to children, youth, and families. You will conduct assessments, provide counseling, and advocate for unified placement with sponsor families within community settings.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish fluency, licensure or progress toward licensure, and the ability to travel for community-based services. NYAP offers substantial benefits and a positive, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctorate degree in a behavioral discipline with clinical experience.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure; non-licensed staff must pursue licensure within 3 years.
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency required to serve children and families.
• Proficient use of computers, internet search, and common office software.

Responsibilities

• Perform work consistent with NYAP's mission, values, and philosophies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional service team for trauma-informed mental health services.
• Provide child-facing services on-site and maintain an active clinical caseload.
• Conduct mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention as needed.
• Facilitate family sessions and coordinate community-based services with partners.
• Complete required documentation and meet productivity thresholds.
