National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) is seeking a licensed clinician to join our La Jornada program, delivering trauma-informed mental health services to children, youth, and families. You will assess, counsel, advocate, and coordinate with foster caregivers and community partners to promote safety and family reunification.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctorate degree in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or related behavioral discipline with clinical experience.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure; non-licensed staff must pursue licensure within 3 years of employment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency required to serve the children and families.
• Proficient with desktop and laptop computers and common software.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including on-call nights/weekends.
• Must be able to travel up to 25–30% to/from placements.
• Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/300,000 Bodily Injury.
• 21+ years old with valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Perform work in alignment with NYAP's mission and values.
• Provide trauma-informed mental health services including assessments and referrals.
• Provide child-facing mental health services on-site.
• Maintain an active clinical caseload and meet service delivery thresholds.
• Conduct mental health assessments and provide ongoing counseling including crisis intervention.
• Facilitate family sessions as needed.
• Travel to foster caregiver homes and community settings as required.
• Complete required assessments, safety plans, and other documentation within timeframes.
• Provide consultation and documentation on clients' functioning and treatment needs.
• Participate in staffing with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Offer orientation to children in care.
• Coordinate and monitor services for youth and family in the community.
• Screen for human trafficking concerns and provide crisis intervention.
• Perform other duties as requested.
