Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program in Madison, Wisconsin, seeks a licensed clinician to provide trauma‑informed mental health services to children, youth, and families. The role focuses on assessments, counseling, advocacy, and crisis intervention to promote safety and successful reunification with sponsor families.

The clinician will collaborate with foster caregivers, service partners, and a multidisciplinary team, maintaining an active caseload and completing required documentation and trainings

Qualifications

• Master's or doctorate degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related behavioral field.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure; non-licensed staff must pursue licensure within 3 years of employment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency required to serve children and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed mental health services and assessments.
• Deliver on-site child-facing services and maintain an active clinical caseload.
• Coordinate with cross-functional team to ensure safety plans and treatment needs are met.
• Document cases, progress, and referrals; support families toward reunification and stability.
• Travel to community settings as needed to deliver services and support clients.
