Job summary

Women In Need, Inc. (Win) is seeking a Clinical Director to lead trauma-informed clinical services across its transitional housing programs. The role requires NYS LCSW or LMHC licensure and at least three years of direct work with families facing homelessness and trauma.

You will supervise, train, and support staff while coordinating referrals and implementing evidence-based practices to improve program outcomes. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• The candidate must hold a current New York State LCSW or LMHC license and have at least three years of experience supporting individuals and families facing homelessness, trauma, mental health concerns, and related challenges.
• Proven experience in trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing; supervisory experience is valued.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Clinical Supervisors to ensure high-quality clinical case management for families and individuals.
• Provide individual and group counseling using trauma-informed and harm reduction approaches.
• Build and maintain strong referral networks for mental health and substance use services.
• Lead the implementation of evidence-based practices and support development of clinical assessment tools.
• Deliver training in Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Informed Care to strengthen staff capability.
• Provide clinical oversight, site support, and strategic input on mental health initiatives across programs.
