Job summary

Restore NYC is seeking a Bilingual Intensive Case Manager to provide trauma-informed, holistic case management for survivors of human trafficking in New York City. The role supports adults of all genders and involves clinical supervision and mobile advocacy, including court and benefits navigation.

Fluency in Spanish and English, a master's in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling, and experience with trauma survivors are required. The position is hybrid, based in NYC with weekly supervision.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling (MSW, LMSW, or MHC) required.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, spoken and written.
• Experience conducting biopsychosocial assessments and crisis intervention.
• Experience with trauma survivors, including immigrants.
• Ability to travel across New York City for mobile advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, trauma informed case management in Spanish and English for a caseload of approximately 23 survivors of trafficking.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, safety plans, crisis prevention plans, and individualized service plans with clients.
• Recognize and respond to presentations of complex trauma, PTSD, dissociation, depression, anxiety, substance use, and other mental health concerns.
• Identify when a client needs a higher level of care and coordinate that transition with providers.
• Research and identify resources for clients and advocate for access to benefits, housing, health, and legal services.
• Interpret for clients at appointments when needed and review documents in Spanish.
