Job summary

Snail Games USA is seeking a highly organized Translator to support the CEO with daily administrative tasks and translate communications between English and Mandarin. The role requires strong multitasking abilities, proactive communication, and cross-cultural skills, with occasional travel for business needs.

You will translate documents, review materials, and provide interpretation during meetings, while contributing to localization of game content and marketing assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Translator with a strong portfolio.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken) is required.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Knowledge of gaming and entertainment terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and consistency in translations, maintaining the original meaning and context.

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Translator to provide high-level administrative support to our CEO and act as a translator in key business dealings.

Position Summary:

The Translator will work closely with the CEO to manage daily administrative tasks and translate communications, documents, and meetings between English and Mandarin. This role requires exceptional multitasking abilities, a proactive approach, and strong cross-cultural communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting C-level executives and be comfortable with occasional travel to support the CEO's business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate documents, presentations, and communications from Mandarin to English and vice versa.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in translations, maintaining the original meaning and context.
• Assist in localizing game content and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with the CEO and other team members to facilitate effective communication.
• Review and edit translated materials for quality assurance.
• Provide interpretation services during meetings as needed.

• FLUENCY IN MANDARIN AND ENGLISH (BOTH WRITTEN AND SPOKEN) IS REQUIRED.

Salary Range:

$50,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
