Job summary

The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) is recruiting for a Transit Information Agent. This role provides customer service via telephone, coordinating travel and route arrangements for riders across Local and Commuter Bus, Light Rail, MARC Train and Metro systems.

Based in Baltimore City, MD, the Information Agent answers inquiries professionally, enters data, documents feedback, and maintains maps, schedules, and databases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in a call center or customer service telephone role with data entry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate travel/route arrangements for riders on MTA services.
• Answer inquiries in a professional, timely, and accurate manner.
• Document complaints, compliments, and concerns while delivering excellent telephone customer service.
• Read maps, service schedules, and access data from databases and websites.
