Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington is seeking a Training Specialist to coordinate the DC Pre-Apprenticeship Construction program. You will help prepare lesson plans, conduct trainings, and manage satisfaction surveys and student records.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of training experience, with experience serving the Latino community strongly preferred. The role offers a structured schedule and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a training environment.
• Experience working with the Latino community.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Program Supervisor in publicity, enrollment, orientation, and operations per project quality standards.
• Conduct classroom training sessions and substitute for instructors.
• Provide tutoring support to students in the classroom.
• Administer student tests and evaluate results (CASAS, PACT, NCEER).
• Maintain student records and case notes.
• Coordinate with Workforce Development team to ensure clients have resources to prepare for employment.
