Job summary

CEC Companies in Texas seeks a recruiter to focus on sourcing, recruiting, and hiring skilled field employees including electricians, apprentices, and other construction professionals. Fluency in English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with diverse candidates and teams.

The ideal candidate will manage full-cycle recruitment, build pipelines through job boards, referrals, and industry networks, and partner with HR on onboarding and workforce integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 2+ years recruiting experience in construction/electrical trades or hands-on electrical experience pivoting to recruiting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ATS experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle recruiting for electricians, apprentices, and skilled labor.
• Source candidates via job boards, referrals, community outreach, trade schools, and networks.
• Screen candidates, schedule interviews, and coordinate hiring decisions with hiring managers.
• Build relationships with field employees, hiring managers, and stakeholders to understand staffing needs.
• Attend job fairs and workforce programs to promote opportunities.
• Develop pipelines for current and future staffing needs.
• Partner with HR to support onboarding and orientations.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations during recruitment.
• Maintain records in ATS and provide hiring reports.
