Job summary

Cec Companies is seeking a skilled Recruiting Specialist to join our Irving, TX team. This full-time role focuses on sourcing, recruiting, and hiring skilled field employees in construction, including electricians and apprentices.

Bilingual English/Spanish is required, and travel up to 25% is expected. You will screen candidates, coordinate interviews with hiring managers, and build a pipeline to meet current and future staffing needs while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; master’s preferred.
• 2+ years of recruiting experience in construction or related field.
• Must be bilingual: English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle recruiting for electricians, apprentices, and skilled labor.
• Source candidates via job boards, referrals, and trade networks.
• Screen candidates, schedule interviews, and coordinate hiring decisions.
• Build relationships with field employees, hiring managers, and stakeholders.
• Attend job fairs and workforce programs to promote opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Partner with HR to support onboarding and orientations.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations during recruitment.
• Maintain ATS records and provide hiring reports as needed.
• Performs other duties as needed to support projects, operations, and the department.
