Job summary

OnPoint Community Credit Union in Washington state is seeking a bilingual Teller to welcome members and handle routine transactions such as deposits and withdrawals, while guiding members toward products and services that meet their financial goals.

This role requires a High School diploma and 6–12 months of cash-handling experience, with bilingual skills in Russian and Spanish highly valued. Starting pay is $22 per hour, with an in-store differential for in-store locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6–12 months Teller experience in finance or customer service with cash handling.
• Bilingual skills are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional member service with welcoming greetings and friendly conversation.
• Process and document teller transactions according to established procedure.
• Verify negotiable items and member identifications.
• Address member questions and offer solutions.
• Cross-sell products and services where appropriate.
• Assist with lobby management to ensure timely help and welcoming environment.
• Keep up-to-date with financial products and educate members on new services.
• Maintain cash drawer and balance within guidelines.
• Able to lift 50-pound bags of coin and stand for extended periods (up to four hours).
• Perform additional duties as required by Management.
• Strive to meet or exceed cross-sale goals.
