Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
• Active state license as physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant in good standing.
• Willingness to become licensed in multiple states where Groups operates.
• Ability to see members in-person at multiple state locations.
• Experience managing OUD with buprenorphine; prior use within Groups Recover Together preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to clinical policies and procedures per GRS Manual.
• Perform intake medical duties and determine medical necessity for treatment.
• Prescribe buprenorphine/naloxone and other medications as appropriate.
• Maintain intake documentation thoroughly and timely.
• Initiate MAT during early weeks of treatment (weeks 1–4).
• Coordinate with community providers for member transitions and with colleagues for ongoing care.
• Maintain a maintenance panel and participate in monthly provider groups.
• Provide coverage for makeup groups and 1:1 sessions as needed.
• Respond to medical questions by phone/email between visits.
