Job summary

Centro de la Familia seeks a Teacher Assistant to support early childhood education programs in Utah. Under supervision of Lead Teacher and Education Specialist, you will assist in classroom activities, support families, and help with meals and safety.

Ideal candidates hold a Preschool CDA or plan to earn within six months, or an associate/bachelor's in ECE. CPR/First Aid and Food Handler permits are required; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Preschool CDA or plan to earn within six months.
• CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler permits are required.
• Willingness to work with children with limited English skills and special needs.
• Spanish-English bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering a developmentally appropriate early childhood program.
• Support infants and toddlers with individualized learning activities.
• Collaborate with families to involve them in planning and execution.
• Help supervise and engage children indoors and outdoors.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety per Head Start/Center guidelines.
