Job summary

Centro de la Familia in Utah is seeking a Center Aide Substitute to support classrooms, keep playgrounds safe, and help with health and school readiness for young learners.

You may assist with transportation, kitchen operations, family services, and developmental activities, while following supervision, safety, and health policies.

Fluency in Spanish and English is a plus; candidates should be at least 18, with a HS diploma or GED; CDA or AA in ECE is preferred; CPR/First Aid may be required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred; CDA or AA in ECE is advantageous.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds; comfortable sitting on the floor.
• Bilingual ability in Spanish and English is a plus; able to work with diverse families.
• Willingness to work across multiple locations within the center.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support and supervision under guidance of the Education Specialist.
• Help maintain a safe playground and classroom environment.
• Support health, safety, and school readiness for young learners.
• Assist with transportation, kitchen operations, and family services as assigned.
• Contribute to developmental activities and inclusive learning for children.
• Collaborate with teachers to engage children in activities and circle time.
