Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking a tax writer with strong English/Spanish communication and tax-prep experience to support TurboTax customers from home. You will craft clear written responses to tax questions in the Community and produce accurate content quickly while meeting quality standards.

You will need active tax credentials (EA/CPA/JD), 2+ years of 1040 and state returns experience, and comfort with cloud-based tools. This full-time role offers flexible remote work and competitive rewards.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) oral and written communication
• Active EA Certification, CPA, or JD (tax attorney)
• Minimum 2 years of federal and state tax return prep experience
• Experience using professional tax software in a work environment
• Experience with business returns (1120/1120S/1065/1041) is a plus
• Ability to explain complex tax questions in simple language
• Excellent English spelling and grammar
• Ability to interpret customers' tax questions without their return
• Strong problem-solving and research skills
• Familiarity with cloud-based apps and Google Workspace
• Full-time availability (40 hours per week) since a fixed schedule across five days

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality written responses to tax questions in the online Community so customers can complete their returns
• Produce accurate, timely content and contribute to various writing projects
• Assist customers with complex tax inquiries and explain solutions clearly
