Job summary

Excelon Associates is recruiting a Student Services Coordinator (Bilingual) for the Kissimmee campus to promote career development training and employment opportunities for graduates.

The role focuses on placing students, developing market outreach, and maintaining employer contacts, with responsibilities spanning graduation coordination, documentation, and ongoing career services support.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor's degree, preferably in counseling, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish with effective verbal and written communication.
• Prior related experience in the staffing industry or a related field preferred.
• Prior teaching experience in a postsecondary institution preferred.
• Persuasive communication skills with an orientation toward results.
• Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Place students in the field for which they are trained.
• Conduct market outreach and job/internship development.
• Develop and maintain employer and community contacts.
• Prepare student files and documentation.
• Provide ongoing career development opportunities for students.
• Develop and enhance a Life Skills program as part of the curriculum.
• Maintain an accurate database of student and graduate files.
• Participate in on-campus events, programs, and promotions.
• Assist with coordination of the annual graduation ceremony.
• Assist with annual reports for regulatory agencies.
• Support the Career Services Director in achieving placement statistics.
• Manage and update the job bank database.
• Proactively follow up with graduates and track outcomes.
• Prepare students for exit interviews and portfolio reviews.
