O'Reilly Auto Parts in Texas seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, service, and store operations. You will step in during absences and on opposing shifts, leading the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

This role emphasizes staff development, hiring support, and ensuring accurate processing of in-store transactions, returns, and transfers, while maintaining store appearance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training or equivalent required.
• Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification required.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise retail showroom customer service levels and execute service programs.
• Coordinate staffing for peak hours at the sales counter.
• Assist in goal setting, coaching, and training of team members.
• Participate in hiring processes and interviews.
• Ensure proper handling of buy online/ship to store and transfers.
• Oversee returns, refunds, and restocking to maintain accuracy.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced and security procedures followed.
• Perform opening/closing duties and bank deposits.
• Maintain store appearance and daily operations; other duties as assigned.
