Job summary

Surge Staffing is seeking a Bilingual Staffing Specialist (English/Spanish) to join our Cincinnati team. This entry-level role blends sales, recruiting, and customer service to support clients and job seekers in a fast-paced staffing environment.

Responsibilities include recruiting, screening, interviewing, onboarding candidates, and generating new business through networking and client support. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM at our Kenwood location in Cincinnati.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, HR, customer service, or business development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and temporary employees in English and Spanish.
• Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard qualified candidates.
• Source candidates through job boards, resume databases, referrals, and recruiting platforms.
• Match candidate skills and experience with client staffing needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and temporary associates.
• Conduct follow-up calls to ensure employee satisfaction and successful placements.
• Assist Spanish-speaking applicants and employees throughout hiring and onboarding.
• Generate and develop new business opportunities through sales and networking efforts.
• Perform client service calls and outside sales visits to maintain and grow business partnerships.
• Promote Surge Staffing services and identify additional staffing solutions for customers.
• Support branch operations through administrative and data entry tasks.
• Assist with employee coaching, performance management, and retention efforts.
• Resolve employee and client concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Support branch growth initiatives and contribute to overall revenue goals.
