Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Dallas, TX seeks a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to plan and provide services for students with speech, voice, or language disorders within the educational program.

You will assess students, develop IEP-goal aligned therapy, participate in ARD committees, collaborate with teachers, and guide clinical strategies. A Texas license and CFYs considered; travel between campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist granted by the State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (SBESLPA)
• One year supervised clinical speech-language pathology experience; CFYs would be considered.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide individual and group therapy to students aligned with IEP goals.
• Evaluate student progress and determine readiness for termination of therapy services.
• Conduct individual evaluations to assess students with speech and language disorders and determine eligibility for services.
• Develop clinical management strategies or procedures and diagnostic statements by interpreting observations or data.
• Participate in the ARD Committee to interpret assessment data and placement decisions.
• Counsel and involve parents in the remedial process; collaborate with teachers to plan remediation in communication skills.
• Provide professional development in assigned schools to help staff identify communication deficits.
• Create an environment conducive to learning and manage student behavior effectively.
• May supervise licensed speech-language pathology assistants or aides.
