Workstream is seeking Bilingual Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in Mesquite, Texas. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology, be licensed in Texas, and be bilingual in English and Spanish. The role includes providing therapy interventions, documenting services, and collaborating with caregivers. Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Speech-language Pathology Assistant program.
• Licensed in Texas as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventions as outlined in the individualized plan of care.
• Conduct individual or group treatment sessions of speech/language.
• Complete documentation to support the delivery of Speech Therapy services.

Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• License from the State of Texas as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Role (SLPA)

• Provide a wide range of interventions as outlined in the individualized plan of care determined by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist.
• Conduct individual or group treatment sessions of speech/language and oral motor development, and consult with other staff and the child's caregivers.
• Complete documentation to support the delivery of Speech Therapy services.
• Measure performance and report on patient’s medical record.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards.
• Ensure continued competence and updated field knowledge.
