Qualifications

• Passing score on Para Pro Test or other state approved assessment or 48 college credits
• Associate Degree required
• Willingness to follow direction and cooperate with staff
• Prefer prior experience with children in school or similar setting
• Mobility to move in classrooms and lift up to 75 pounds with assistance if needed

Responsibilities

• Assist the certified teacher under supervision
• Support students in academics, social skills, self-care, and vocational tasks
• Assist with behavior management and safety plans as needed
• Utilize Google Meet and Google Classroom for instruction
• Assist in administrative duties and data collection
• Work as part of a team with other staff and professionals
