Qualifications

• Passing score on the Para Pro Test or other state approved assessment program.
• Associate degree or 48 college credits required/preferred.
• Ability to move in and out of classroom, lift up to 20 pounds, and assist students with IEP goals.
• Prefer bilingual candidate.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a certified teacher, prepare for classroom instructional events and other activities.
• Assists in implementing strategies and interventions.
• Provide positive role models and treat students with respect.
• Assist with academics, social skills, self-care, and vocational tasks.
• Assist with behavior and safety plans; support ABA strategies and data collection.
• Use Google Meet and Google Classroom, in person and virtual.
• Complete onboarding and implement district policies for IEPs.
