Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years college (48 semester units).
• Experience working with teenagers preferred.
• Ability to speak and write fluently in Spanish.
• Ability to type and operate basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work with students in various settings to reinforce learning.
• Check and record student attendance.
• Help English Learners with study problems as requested by staff.
• Order supplies, maintain equipment inventory, and process study materials.
• Assist with supervision during drills, assemblies, field trips, etc.
• Type, proofread, file, and compile information for reports.
• Translate letters and forms sent to parents.
• Provide help to new students about school rules and language support.
