Job summary

Centria Autism in the United States is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, while ensuring safety and engagement. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required. This role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Patient and compassionate with children and adaptable to a team.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Ensure safety and appropriately respond to challenging situations.
• Assist in promoting participation and engagement during activities.
