Job summary

Tempus Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a Spanish Speaking Personal Care Management Skills Trainer to educate consumers on managing PCA services within Salem, MA and surrounding areas. The role covers a 60-mile radius and requires travel, with 2-day orientation in Stoughton.

The position is full-time (35 hours/week), Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–4:30 pm, and emphasizes confidentiality and adherence to Mass Health regulations. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred
• Experience or education in teaching or counseling is helpful
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate databases are required

Responsibilities

• Follow-up on assigned functional skills training per contract
• Assess consumers' ability to manage PCA services
• Train consumers to manage their PCA program per Mass Health service agreement
• Maintain confidentiality in consumer issues
• Attend in-service, supervision and staff development meetings
• Demonstrate knowledge of program policies and Mass Health regulations
• Work within PCM contract policies to complete and track required documents
• Complete and submit internal requirements (progress notes, schedules, mileage forms)
• Provide training and support for EVV and intake/review processes
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Skills Trainer Supervisor
