Qualifications

• Prior lending experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred; commensurate work experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Gather applicant information to determine the best lending option.
• Educate applicants on complementary products and services.
• Work with Underwriting/Analysis to decide loans per approval authority.
• Assist members with loan requests via phone, in person, or online.
• Collect debt, income, and supporting documents to complete applications.
• Explain credit union products and meet or exceed sales goals.
• Document all loan decisions with supporting information.
• Maintain knowledge of competitors' products to aid member decisions.
• Communicate lending decisions clearly and navigate sensitive situations.
• Handle additional projects or duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and effective communication.
