We believe that high-performing teams drive groundbreaking medical discoveries and invite all applicants to join us and experience what it means to be part of Mass General Brigham.**Job Summary**The Infectious Diseases Clinical Research Unit (ID CRU), situated within the Division of Infectious Diseases at Massachusetts General Hospital, plays a pivotal role in orchestrating diverse clinical trials. These trials contribute valuable findings in areas like vaccine development, innovative antifungal treatments, and exploration of long-term symptoms linked to COVID-19. In the year ahead, we look forward to implementing several clinical trials, including a study on the feasibility and impact of long-acting PrEP injections and navigation services for people who inject drugs, an ongoing observational study of individuals who have had COVID, investigations into potential new therapies for Long COVID. Following established policies, procedures, and study protocols, provides assistance on clinical research studies, including recruiting, evaluating, and consenting patients for studies; collecting and organizing patient data; scheduling patients for study visits; performing clinical tests such as phlebotomy, EKGs, etc.; maintaining and updating data generated by the study. Additionally, it provides input into determining study subject suitability and input into recruitment strategy. Performs data analysis, interpretation, QA/QC, and assists in completing reports and presentations. Does this position require Patient Care?
