Women In Need (Win) in New York City seeks a Clinical Director to lead trauma-informed care delivery across transitional housing programs. You will supervise staff, enhance clinical practices, and support DHS-funded THRIVE NYC initiatives with strong collaboration across program directors and teams.
The role requires an NYS LCSW/LMHC license and at least 3 years of supervisory experience in trauma-focused clinical settings.
THE ROLE
The Clinical Director partners with the AVP to lead the implementation of clinical services across Win’s transitional housing programs. This role advances initiatives that strengthen and standardize social work practices, while providing critical feedback to Program Directors and staff to drive continuous program improvement. As part of a DHS-funded program under the THRIVE NYC initiative, the Clinical Director delivers clinical supervision and consultation, supporting trauma-informed care for families experiencing chronic homelessness or significant trauma.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
WHO YOU WILL BE
You will hold a current New York State LCSW or LMHC, with at least three (3) years of experience supporting individuals and families facing acute challenges, including homelessness, mental health concerns, substance use, trauma, poverty, and systemic barriers
You will demonstrate strong knowledge and hands-on expertise in Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Trauma-Informed Care (TIC)
You will bring proven clinical supervisory experience, with the ability to guide and support staff effectively
You will have solid computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
You will have bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred)
Masters or better in Social Work.
