Job summary

Family Service League Inc. is looking for a Bilingual Spanish Case Manager for the Home Safe program. The role involves providing direct services to families involved with child protective services and documenting client interactions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in family services, excellent communication skills, and be able to navigate community resources effectively. We offer a generous benefits package including health, dental, and retirement savings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with at least 4 years experience with families in a related capacity, or a Bachelor's Degree with 2 years’ experience required.
• Candidate must possess the ability to work with diverse populations.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills required.
• Valid and clean New York State Driver’s License and a car that is properly insured.

Responsibilities

• Conduct linkage, coordination, advocacy and mentoring.
• Focus on goal achievement around family’s involvement with child protective services.
• Work with clients in a culturally responsive manner.
• Utilize Motivational Interviewing to facilitate change.
• Carry a caseload of 14 families that are visited weekly.
• Complete prompt and accurate documentation.
